No patient, anaesthetic or surgery is the same. I enjoy the dynamic environment of theatre and anaesthesia where you have to constantly troubleshoot and adapt. I love to be hands-on, hone my practical skills, apply my mind, and incorporate new and exciting technology. I enjoy interacting with my patients, to walk them through the process and to make sure that they have a safe and comfortable experience.

My mission is to prepare patients physically and mentally for the stress of surgery, to keep them and their families well-informed, and to navigate them safely through their procedures.

I want to be that anaesthetist who makes my patients a part of the journey, who keeps them in the know of what can be expected and strives to tailor the anaesthetic to their specific needs or past experiences.
